This year the focus of the American Heart Association’s research efforts is in the area of congenital heart defects. About 36,000 children are born with a heart defect each year. The American Heart Association along with our proud sponsors Union Bank and Stanford Cardiothoracic Surgery Program at Saint Agnes want to give countless families hope for the future.
